When I had a month in front of me, I felt like I could do anything and everything I wanted, but as long as I played every day, it would pass in the blink of an eye. Even though I hadn't neglected it at all, the amount of homework I had left was almost the same as it had been at the beginning of the summer vacation. I sit down in my chair with a heavy heart and start with my relatively favorite subject, which I still manage to motivate myself to do. When I opened the window and lifted the bamboo screen, the midsummer sun cast a dark shadow on the view from my room.
